Dr. Redman is an Associate Professor of Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Hematology/Oncology at the University of Michigan Medical Center. Dr. Redman currently serves as the Director of the Clinical Trials Office and as the Associate Director of the Tumor Immunology/Immunotherapy Program within the University of Michigan Comprehensive Cancer Center. Dr. Redman is also a member of the Oncology Drug Advisory Committee of the USA Food and Drug Administration.

Dr. Redman is a recognized authority in the design and conduct of clinical therapeutic trials especially in regards to the immunotherapy of cancer. He is an expert in the treatment of malignant melanoma and kidney cancer. Dr Redman’s current clinical research focus is in the application of dendritic cells to the treatment of cancer.
