Dr. Ronald LEVY (2006)
Ronald Levy, MD, is a professor of medicine and the
chief of the division of oncology at the Stanford University
School of Medicine. He is the Robert K. Summy and Helen
K. Summy Professor at Stanford as well as the Frank
and Else Schilling American Cancer Society Clinical
Research Professor. Dr. Levy earned his AB at Harvard
University, and his MD at Stanford. He conducted his
internship and residency at Massachusetts General Hospital
in Boston. He was a clinical associate in the immunology
branch of the National Cancer Institute, and served
fellowships in the department of oncology at Stanford
and the Helen Hay Whitney Foundation, the department
of chemical immunology at the Weizmann Institute of
Science in Rehovot, Israel.
Dr. Levy serves on the Scientific Advisory Board of
the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, the Board
of Directors of the Damon Runyon Cancer Research Fund,
the Conflict of Interest Committee for Stanford University
School of Medicine, and the Member Research Council
of the American Cancer Society. He is a frequent lecturer
and has written more than 250 publications.
